This bay is open to prevailing NW to N winds but do offer shelter in E to S winds.
Double Bay tends to be a bit gusty in S sector winds and has a mooring on the N side.
There is a nice picnic spot in this bay and the beach is very pleasant.

- 5 or less | Mooring #230 lies on the East side of Double Bay to the north of Clubs’ mooring #6. It is tucked into a small cove and is sheltered in South to East to North sector winds. It is currently limited to one boat at a time of maximum boat length 13.5m.
