Camp Bay (Endeavour Inlet)

Camp Bay provides a safe anchorage in 10 metres of water and is suitable for winds from the south to north-west. The holding is good. However an increasing number of moorings in the bay means water space has reduced for anchoring larger vessels.

A well-formed track leads from the centre of the bay to the road to Kenepuru Saddle which is a half hour walk.

One of two holiday resorts in Endeavour Inlet, Punga Cove  is also located in Camp Bay on the western side of Endeavor Inlet and has road access via the Kenepuru Sound.

There is a DOC campsite which is signposted on the shoreline of Camp Bay
